I wen!
It's not bad. It'd be more interesting if there was other ways to build up money before flipping the coin. Throwing the cup is a cool idea, but it gets a bit tedious after a while. Aside from that, everything looks beautiful and it plays smoothly. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for playing!
I was trying to make the game scoop as small as possible sybince the gamejam is 3days long.
Myb i ll add more stuff after the voting end. Thanks for the feedback!

It's a really simple idea but hey, it works. Fun and kind of addictive!

Hutcle responds:

Thanks! The reason it was so simple was because it was made for a game jam, but I might make some updates in the near future.

Beautiful game! Amazing artwork and an interesting story to go along with it. The customisable deck, unlockable memories, and story really set it apart from your typical tower defence game.

The only real drawback for me is it didn't feel like much of a challenge. Most levels could be beat by placing a couple of glamour fountains and just spamming basic sentinels. I still tried out the other stuff, but it was more out of interest rather than a need to adapt.

That said, it was still a solid, enjoyable game. Really hoping for a sequel!

Thank you so much for playing, and the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the artwork, that was a good 75% of my time/effort for this one.

I agree the game balance is tipped to the easy side... being a 1-month game jam I unfortunately didn't get tons of time to play test it.

As for a sequel, Alice will certainly be back in future games, though if you look at my library you'll see I genre-hop a lot. But there are 6 other games in the series currently, perhaps there's another in there you might like!

Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know your thoughts about the game!

Nice game! Interesting puzzles and great pixel art to go with them. Only thing I would say is it gets a bit tedious having to select the player before every move. It could probably just highlight the new tiles you can move to after the character finishes moving, rather than having to manually reselect him each time. Other than that, just wish there was more levels!

I will keep the player selecting in mind, I am planning on adding more levels if enough people enjoy this small project. Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed my game! :)

That was great! Very different sort of gameplay. Kind of reminds me of snake, where you have to watch the rest of the body as well. I'd have personally preferred more, slightly smaller levels, as oppose to three large ones, but that's just an opinion. Good job!

Thank you for playing, much love <3

Pretty good for your first submission. Definitely need to work on those collisions though. Doubt you need to use a composite collider. With such a small game, it probably doesn't make much difference on performance. Also, a restart level button would be nice. Just in case you fall out of bounds and can't get back. Looking at you, tutorial! Other than that, nice graphics, pleasant soundtrack, and enjoyable gameplay. Good job!

DevinIsOn1 responds:

I'll take your advice next time.
Thank you so much for your feedback and for playing the game.

Love the style! Wish there was a way to switch between the weapons you've collected, and a score count would be nice too. In any case, will be keeping an eye out for the full game.

J4cko16 responds:

The games full release should be planned for June also I will add a score thing that was something I was thinking about for a while now.

Great, now I have to spend the rest of the day working out how a squid would ride a bicycle...

Nice and relaxing (most of the time!) with a very pleasant soundtrack. A mini map would help. If not, maybe a name for each area that pops up when you enter it so you can draw it better in your head. Did have a bug where the bomb went through the wall, but it only happened once so it's not really an issue. Overall very enjoyable, good job!

SwiftVector responds:

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I like the area name idea - could be a quicker fix than figuring out how to make a minimap.
